History of Bra | women in bra and panties

The Creation and using of Bra has along history that can be traced to crete and minoan civilization a thousand years ago. Being in Asia the earliest record of a bra-like clothing was found in China
Bra was known by the name  Brassiere, there are several prototype Bra, during a middle ages in edwardian Era, a bra called " Plumpness enhancer for women"

The word Brassiere literally mean "support", brassiere comes from the french and was first used in Vogue magazine issued at 1907

before the Era of bras, corsets was used by many women in Europe from 16th century to the end of 19th century, the corset is an underwear that function to push the breast up.

In 1914, Mary Phelps Jacob became the first bra patent holder, her Bra is made  from two silk handkerchiefs tied together with ribbon functioning as a strap.

In 1935, the standard measure for a bra was introduced, size are labeled A, B, C and D. with A is the Smallest size and D is the Largest. See here

After World War 2, shortages of materials make women improvise by using nylon or silk of parachutes, or satin from an old wedding dress as materials for making a Bra 

In the 1950's, the most popular model of bra cup is type of cone, this type of bra will give you a better silhouette on the cleavage. over time, the nylon begun to used, since then there have been thousands of innovation that occurred

These include the introduction of the wonderbra in the late of 1960's, wonderbra model suitable for clothing at that time that have very low necklines.
Bra with padding has also been available in the market, to make breasts seem Bigger.
